2010-2013: Website Design and Development. Free-lance commercial and online videos for clients such as United Way, Hookem Productions, TRD Enterprises (Canada), Combined Federal Campaign, the Montana Policy Institute, Sammons Trucking, just to name a few.

2009: Internship New York City, for Ark Media, Insignia Films, and more to produce the PBS TV series Faces of America starring Henry Louis Gates Jr. and Eva Longoria.

2009: Matthew J. Beard released the festival acclaimed short documentary, We Want to be Sweat Free! which was shown at the NewFilmmakers Summer Film Festival NY for their Labor Showcase.

2008: Graduation with the first Media Arts class of the University of Montana with a B.A. in Media Arts.

2006: It all started at the University of Montana in 2006 while Matthew J. Beard was involved in the Professional Broadcast Journalism program while simultaneously completing his first short documentary, The Cost of a Coke.
