Lately I’ve been doing some freelance broadcast TV crew work for ROOT Sports in Seattle at Safeco Field for Seattle Mariners baseball games. I’d say it’s more fun than work at all actually.
Safeco Field has a retractable roof that closes and opens unlike most sports stadiums in America. This photo was taken on the roof of stadium on a day when the roof was open for a nice sunny day of Mariners baseball. Not many workers are allowed up there but we climbed up the stairs with some heavy TV equipment and took some shots of the Blue Angels airplanes as they flew over and by the stadium!
The only tough part was taking the equipment up and down some high stairs.
